Die Woud is truly a dream wedding venue for any photographer. The natural beauty of the forest, paired with the glass reception structure, creates timeless backdrops that need very little editing. The venue is beautifully run, with a team that is organised and attentive, which makes the day flow smoothly for both couples and suppliers. It’s an ideal choice for couples who want a magical setting that feels effortless, elegant, and close to Cape Town.

From the very beginning of our wedding journey, Nicolaas and Janine made us feel completely supported, welcomed, and cared for. My husband and I booked Die Woud about a year before our wedding, and throughout the entire planning process they were consistently responsive, professional, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in helping us create the perfect day. No question was ever too small, and they were always willing to assist with guidance, recommendations, supplier suggestions, and helpful advice that made planning feel so much less overwhelming. Their experience and passion for what they do truly shine through. Die Woud itself is honestly breathtaking. One of the most magical parts of the venue is the beautiful forest walkway leading down to the ceremony area. Guests walk through the trees along elegant white paving that almost looks like walking on snow, creating such a surreal and romantic atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The ceremony space itself feels like something out of a fairytale, with beautiful seating set beneath the sky and surrounded by the forest, with the most stunning circular ceremony feature at the front where you exchange your vows. It is peaceful, intimate, elegant, and absolutely unforgettable. The venue flows beautifully, including the lovely lounge area outside, and it created such a magical experience for both us and our guests. One of the things we appreciated most was how accommodating they were. We had a white jumping castle and an ice cream van as part of our wedding, and they were so kind in allowing us to incorporate those personal touches into the day so seamlessly. From the high end furniture and décor to the immaculate finishes and thoughtful details throughout the venue, everything feels luxurious while still warm and romantic. Every corner of Die Woud has been curated so beautifully, and it truly created the most incredible setting for our wedding day. Looking back, we genuinely could not have chosen a more beautiful venue or better people to walk this journey with us. Nicolaas and Janine were exceptional hosts from start to finish, and we are so grateful for the role they played in making our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more. Thank you both again for creating such a special space and experience. We will always look back on our wedding at Die Woud with the happiest hearts.

We recently celebrated our daughter’s wedding at Die Woud in Caledon, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the breathtaking natural beauty of the venue – the forest setting created a fairytale atmosphere that made the entire day feel truly special. The team at Die Woud was incredibly professional, attentive, and welcoming. Every detail was taken care of with care and precision, allowing us to relax and enjoy the day. The catering was outstanding – the meals were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Our guests are still raving about the flavourful mains and the decadent desserts! Die Woud created the perfect setting for a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. We are so grateful to the entire team for making our daughter’s wedding a dream come true.
