La Roche Estate is located just outside of Franschhoek and has the most ideal location and space for hosting events. ## Venues Say ‘I do!’ in one of the world’s most beautiful valleys. We offer three unique wedding venue locations, allowing you to create and host your unique wedding experience. The Sanctuary. Built on an island and surrounded by water, where many memorable moments have been made and captured. This monumental building with high-arched glass entryways allows you and your guests to be sheltered, whilst being bathed in light and surrounded by breathtaking views and water on all sides, which on calm days, creates spectacular reflections. Venue capacity Ceremony: max 120 people seated Cocktail style: max 100 people standing Size: 110m2 The Festival Hall. A meticulously built and spacious hall which allows for a warm and festive environment for all our wonderful brides and grooms to celebrate the joyous moment with their loved ones. Venue capacity: Feast Hall: 180 people seated Size: 506m2 Bacchus Lounge Size: 81m2 ## Accommodation Our three luxury self-catering cottages each comes with their very own private wood fire hot tub which overlooks our beautiful estates vineyards and sceneries. The Chardonnay Luxury Suite or better known as our “honeymoon suite”, overlooks our spectacular Pear Tree grove and Chardonnay vineyards. Pinot Noir Luxury Suite 1 & 2 overlooks our beautiful Pinot noir Vineyards. Our Luxury self-catering Family Suite is perfect for a group or family of 6. Features: ·Bedroom with a king-sized bed and en-suite bathroom ·Bedroom with a king-sized bed ·Bedroom with two single beds ·A fully equipped kitchen, spacious living area, with fireplace. An absolutely exceptional stay at La Roche Estate in South Africa. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a caring and professional team, always ready to meet our needs. The setting is simply stunning, surrounded by breathtaking natural landscapes, with vineyards and mountains creating a peaceful and luxurious atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and perfectly equipped, offering top-tier comfort and complete tranquility. The dining experience also deserves special mention: every meal was a true delight, featuring fresh ingredients and beautifully crafted local flavors. We also loved the range of activities available on-site and nearby, allowing us to discover the region in an authentic and enriching way. The calm environment, impeccable cleanliness, and attention to detail truly make this place stand out. We had a lovely breakfast and wine tasting at Davids Bistro. Perfect calm and delicious start into the day. Big shout out to Neil for the super service and his wine knowledge, highly appreciated 🙌 The surrounding is absolutely gorgeous as well. We will come back.

La Roche... where do I even begin? My husband and I got married here last year in April and it was nothing short of magical. La Roche is one of the most beautiful places we've ever been to and it took our breath away. Our wedding was small - just us and our immediate family - and it was perfect. Brigitte was phenomenal and BEYOND helpful and accommodating, leading up to our wedding and on the day. We got married at the Sanctuary and spent the night at the Manor House where we had our dinner party and first dance, and we had a gorgeous breakfast spread the next day. We can't wait to visit again for our anniversary! Thank you so much to everyone at La Roche for making our day so very special and for making our dreams come true!
