It’s difficult to put into words how incredible our wedding day at Glenbrae was. Planning a wedding is very stressful, and everyone at Glenbrae just made the process so easy and enjoyable. They all have this “your event is going to be amazing and everything is possible” attitude, which was so comforting. Just before I was supposed to walk down the isle it started pouring down. The staff and organisers swiftly moved the entire ceremony, including all the guest 😅, to the veranda. And it turned out so beautiful and intimate. It was perfect. Another big advantage of this venue is that everything is so close together and there are a few options of areas to have your event or parts thereof. There is an island, a deck overlooking the dam, a large grass terrace, a fire pit and a big veranda. The building itself is like a tasteful blank canvas, it can be decorated to suit literally any style, from natural and down to earth, to super classy and everything in between. We also stayed in basic hired tents on the farm, right next to the venue. This was so convenient for the wild spirited ones that didn’t want the night to end. Cannot recommend this venue enough!
