I visited Seeplaas and overall had a good experience. I would rate it 4 stars. The art gallery is wonderful, with beautiful pieces and a very nice atmosphere. It’s a great place to enjoy art while relaxing. The food presentation was very good and looked impressive when served. However, the service was a bit mixed. Some waiters were friendly and helpful, while others seemed rushed and eager to finish quickly. A few orders were also taken incorrectly, and some people did not receive exactly what they ordered. Even with the service issues, it is still a lovely place to visit for the art, atmosphere, and nicely presented food.

Seeplaas is one of our favourite restaurants in Groot Brak Rivier region. Although they did not have an open table for eight, the team still went out of their way to bring in extra tables and accommodate us, even though we were prepared to sit outside in the cold. We have eaten here several times and can highly recommend the friendly people, delicious food, cosy fireplace, beautiful seaview and excellent service. This is always my top recommendation for anyone visiting the area.

We stopped at Seeplaas yesterday while travelling on the Power Van, and what an incredible experience it was! I enjoyed the most delicious breakfast I have had in a long time – the English Muffin Breakfast was absolutely outstanding and full of flavour. Seeplaas itself is breathtakingly beautiful, with stunning views of the ocean that make it a destination worth visiting on its own. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, and the scenery is simply spectacular. The service was excellent from start to finish, and we felt very welcome throughout our visit. I would highly recommend Seeplaas to anyone looking for great food, exceptional service, and some of the most beautiful sea views you could ask for. We will definitely be back! 🌊☕🍳

We took the Mosselbaai Power Van and stopped here at Seeplaas for breakfast. It was definitely the best breakfast we ever had. The waiter, Darshan, was excellent and so friendly. We had a great experience. The atmosphere and view were amazing. Would definitely stop here again!
