Lovely place to be! Exceptional views. Amazing staff, with great service. If you are a coffee lover you should try their large cappuccino, but the best of all their carrot cake. Its amazing, if you are ever in Knysna you should give this cafe a try.

I wish I could say tge food was good, but honestly, it wasn't. I ordered shakshuka and my husband the peri-peri chicken. The shakshuka was not the dish I know as shakshuka, it was scrambled egg mixed with tomatoes, and feta on top. It tasted awful! I had two bites and left the rest. The dish called shakshuka is supposed to be poached eggs in a tomato based sauce, definitely NOT scrambled eggs. The chicken was still cold inside even though we waited more than half an hour for the food. I cannot recommend this place unfortunately.

Monday afternoon lunch was absolutely delightful, Home made hamburger pattie and cajun chicken tramazini followed by the freshest orange sponge and carrot cake. It was simple, tasty and delicious. The service was superb and the view was breath taking. Child-friendly and budget friendly, this home grown Knysna café comes highly recommended and is very reasonably priced. Friends and family. Open spaces and a lovely garden with bunnies! Don't leave Knysna without an breakfast or lunch at The Villiage Café Knysna.

We visited Knysna for Easter Weekend and heard about this gem from family. We were served by the friendliest waiter. The menu has so much to offer at very reasonable prices. The cuppachino’s were first class and personalised by the skilful barista. Our table of 7 received our food orders together and the food was fresh, warm and generous. We were seated on the stoep and had a full view of the Knysna Heads. As it was Saturday, there was live music and stalls, which created a nice vibe and atmosphere. I can definitely recommend The Village Café to anyone looking for generous, affordable and tasty food. Thanks for a great time.
