Overlooking acres of vineyards and lush countryside, Diamant Estate at the foot of Paarl Mountain is a treasure in the Agter-Paarl and a perfect wedding venue.
Over three centuries have passed since the first buildings were erected here and today, these masterfully restored historic structures offer superior wedding, function and guesthouse facilities. At Diamant Estate they will help you create new memories to last a lifetime.
A historic barn was beautifully renovated to create the magnificent main venue at Diamant Estate. While the original Cape Dutch style was retained, the architects and designers married tradition with contemporary fittings, such as farm-sourced granite-clad walls, large frameless glass doors and ‘floating’ onyx bar counters, plus the comfort of lounge pockets and under-floor heating. One large courtyards of which has been fitted with fire pits, as well as an entertainment area with a full bar, complement this spacious venue. This venue can comfortably seat up to 150 guests in banqueting style. Space can also be adjusted for smaller weddings. Our newly renovated lounge area is a area were guest can relax on lushes lounge pockets, fire place for the cold winter evenings and air conditioning for the warm summer days.
The even older wine cellar dating from the 1700s which has been renovated into the Chapel can accommodate a perfect 120 guests on beautiful wooden pews. For Private functions, the chapel can also be set up for an intimate private dinner/lunch or brunch for up to 40 guests.
Pre-dinner drinks can be served on the Manor House Lawns or on the lawn in front of the main venue under the beautiful 150-year-old oak tree. The Manor House Lawn can also be used for your Wedding ceremony, should your wedding exceed the amount of 120 guests that can fit in the chapel, please note this is weather permitted. If you wish to have an outside wedding, the option of having a glass marquee on their lawns is a possibility for an additional fee.
Offering a cosmopolitan blend of Cape Dutch and Victorian architectural styles, the Diamant Estate Manor House was erected in 1821 and renovated several times since. All appointments and furnishings for this world-class, establishment were selected both for their comfort and their appeal to the most discerning visitor. The Manor House is home to 4 luxury suites, while the Pioneer House offers another 10 bedrooms – all en-suite. Also our Self-Catering units The Farmhouse is a 5 sleeper house with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, lounge area and outdoor area , while the Cottage a 2 sleeper house with 1 bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, lounge and outdoor area
