This property has so much potential. Situated just 15 minutes outside Plettenberg Bay, 7 min drive from Robberg Nature Reserve, the estate offers both cottages and campsites spread across lush lawns and shaded by mature trees. It also has a small pool deck overlooking a stunning valley, offering the ultimate spot for a sunset drink and a serene getaway. However, the facilities seem poorly maintained with basic service deliverables severely lacking. We arrived at 3pm to find our cottage lacked a braai—a basic amenity provided to everyone else. Despite informing the manager, we were only supplied with one the following day, forcing us to cook extremely late at a distant picnic site. The infrastructure also leaves much to be desired. The campsite ablutions are unreliable; a simple act of someone washing their hands caused my shower to drop to a trickle. My friends in the cottages fared no better, dealing with a blocked shower that overflowed onto the bathroom floor. The cottage interior was also poorly thought out; the kitchen sink was wedged into a corner where two short countertops met, making it hard to wash up and leaving little space for meal prep or dishes. One of the problems seems to be a lack of staff. With only one manager and one cleaning lady on-site during the peak New Year’s rush, the impression is that the owners are too cheap to employ the help required to run the place properly. Ps. Regardless of the facilities, our group still had a great time, and I write this review in the hopes that things will improve.

Had a lovely 2 nights, 3 days at the campsite of Berry Hill Estate. The ablution was kept very clean, the site has big spaces with sun and also lots of shadow to keep cool in the summer. Nice sized clean pool, volleyball field, a swing, and overall plenty of room for activities for the kids. Some beautiful birds flying around, and even some monkeys in the trees (Vervets I think? Not baboons in any way). Gorgeous nature all around and at a short drive from Plettenberg. Perfect! But the best part of the Estate was the manager, Ben. He was very kind, helpful and has a friendly and warm heart. We spoke with him and he does a very good job at maintaining the Estate. I would definitely come here again with my family. 10/10 recommended!

Beautiful area and kept neat and tidy. Beds are way too hard and bedding full of holes. No shower curtain or door so floor gets very wet. No warning about keeping windows closed during the day for monkeys. Surely a small note in each unit will not be too difficult to do? We don't live there so don't know what to expect. All in all not a too bad experience.

Beautiful beautiful. Spend one night at this estate. R2000 for the house and campsite. Walking trail, swimming pool of 1meters swallow and 1.3 meters deep. Fun activities nearby zipline , paint world etc. Fully equipped with cutlery, towels, blankets, and hot shower water. Thank you, M.C. Polson (host)
