Housed in what was once an orchid greenhouse, the contemporary function venue seats up to 200 guests (although they can design events for smaller groups) and acts as a blank canvas for your dream décor. With its spacious layout, high ceilings and walls of glass on three sides, the venue looks as sophisticated dressed in a sleek, minimal aesthetic as it does festooned with flowers and fairy lights. The breathtaking landscape of The Crags and the blue Tsitsikamma Mountains – which are clearly visible from any vantage point thanks to all the glass – add an extra layer of “decoration” for a rich natural backdrop. Flexibility is key to the wedding offering at Kay & Monty. Your wedding day is completely personal to you, based on your particular preferences, priorities and budget, which is why they will work with you to design a custom event package that brings to life your unique vision. In addition to the versatility of the venue, the team is happy to discuss all of your dreams and ideas, bringing personalised touches to all the details that will make your wedding an extraordinary and unforgettable celebration. The family-owned estate not only offers a picturesque location for your big day but also an assortment of beautiful settings for your photographs. Kay and Monty is a stunning wine estate with breathtaking views and a truly special atmosphere. The staff are attentive and clearly take great pride in what they do, which really adds to the overall experience. The food was fantastic and perfectly complemented by the wine, which was even better. From start to finish, everything was exceptional and there is honestly nothing to fault. It is an absolute must-visit when you are in the area.
