The Palms Plett Tucked along 31 Main Street in the heart of beautiful Plettenberg Bay, The Palms Plett is one of those restaurants that gets everything just right. Nestled within the charming Ivory Haus Boutique Hotel, this coastal gem effortlessly blends laid-back Garden Route energy with genuinely stylish dining. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere wraps around you like a warm embrace. The background music struck the perfect pitch — present enough to set the mood, never intrusive — creating an ambience that felt both vibrant and relaxed. The vibe is effortlessly cool: eclectic, chic, and buzzing with good energy without ever feeling pretentious. The staff were an absolute highlight. Warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly — they made us feel like regulars from the first hello. Service like that elevates an entire evening. Now, the food. We kicked things off with freshly shucked oysters paired with bubbly — a pairing that felt almost criminally indulgent in the best possible way. But the star of the show? The Cognac ribs. Tender, deeply flavoured, sticky, and utterly sensational. Finger-licking good doesn't even begin to cover it — we were unashamedly licking every last drop off our fingers. The Palms Plett is pure magic. We'll absolutely be back.

Visited yesterday to celebrate my sister's birthday and it was such a lovely time! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We got seated next to the fireplace which made it even more special and cozy. Food, service, and vibe were all perfect.

Very friendly staff and excellent food! The duck breast was very tender and well-balanced. They have a variety of food so everyone should be able to find something. The view is stunning!

The Palms Plett is by far one of my most favorite places to spend time. The moment you step inside, the décor sweeps you away—it’s refined, stylish, and absolutely upper class, setting the perfect atmosphere for a memorable outing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely incredible experience at Palm of Plett yet again! This was our second time visiting and once again they completely exceeded expectations. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive and professional, making us feel so welcome — especially with the kids. The food was honestly divine. Every single dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavour. We enjoyed everything from starters to mains and dessert, and not one item disappointed. You can truly taste the quality and care that goes into the menu. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, making it perfect for both families and date nights. It’s rare to find a restaurant that delivers consistently excellent food, service and ambiance, but Palm of Plett absolutely does. Definitely one of our favourite spots in Plett and we will 100% be back again! The service is consistently exceptional—attentive without being intrusive, with a team that makes you feel valued from start to finish. The cocktails are a work of art, beautifully crafted with that little extra kick that makes them stand out. We decided to start light with a small starter so we could indulge in dessert—and it was absolutely worth the wait. Every bite delivered on flavor and presentation, the perfect sweet ending to the experience. The Palms Plett is the kind of place that leaves you smiling long after you’ve left. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to visit again, and it’s always at the top of my list when in Plettenberg Bay.
