Very beautiful cottage, modern yet cozy. Bed was comfortable, but a bit small. Bring your groceries with you, he also have a nice restaurant. Highly recommended

I stayed for one night at Cellar 1980 and absolutely loved it! It’s a stunning luxury home with great architecture. And with the two floors and two bedrooms, it’s not just a cabin, it’s indeed a home for a weekend away. I loved the design/architecture of the whole building, but especially the design of the bedrooms and bathrooms. And when you stay at the master bedroom, you have a perfect view to the sunrise from both, bed and bathtub. Of course there is also a kitchen, stylish living room with a indoor fireplace and a BBQ-area. Also very nice to have a wood fired hot tub and a TV with Apple TV. The communication with Braam, one of the owners, was great and he was also the one showing me the cabin when I arrived. And it was also a very nice touch that he had already started heating up the hot tub. I enjoyed my time at this luxury home a lot and I can definitely recommend it! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, quirky, functional and the host went out of his way for us. It’s great value for money and I would 100% love to stay there again. Thank you Braam. PS you make a mean Shiraz!

Clean, everything you need, great view, lots of passion and history. Braam is very friendly and helpful. The place is a jewel so peaceful and the hot tub/pool is a winner. Also loved the outdoor braai, the beautiful sunset, to watch the Springbokkies and bloukraanvoels. Very neat ,the garden is beautiful and did I mention the views. Have you been to the secret cellar....make a plan
