The first time I arrived at Clairvaux I felt as if I time traveled one hundred years. The way these boys has kept the nostalgia of the old and let the magic of the modern quirky creep in so easily is mind blowing. I instantly felt wrapped up in the beautiful history of the Cape Winelands and the history of this family. They have done a splendid job! I have spent many a morning waking up to the breathtaking mountain view and beauty of the surrounding garden. Sitting on their patio, with a glass of 'something' from one of the local farms, overlooking the little town of Robertson settle in for the night is one of my favorite things to do. Each room is beautifully unique and comfortable. Staying in this home on this property is not just a must, or treat, it is an honored experience one does not find easily.

Clairvaux Estate offers a magical getaway in the heart of the Robertson Wine Valley. The farmhouse is steeped in history and the views from the farm are out of this world. The estate is close to Robertson and all of the local attractions nearby including vineyards. The house is walking distance to Four Cousins restaurant which you can see from the verandah. I would highly recommend this property when visiting Robertson.

Robertson Wine Valley is an extraordinary holiday destination. Our stay at Clairvaux Estate was truly memorable. The host is amazing and the property picturesque. I would definitely recommend booking a stay!

I have some very happy memories of staying at Clairvaux over the years and can't wait to go back to try out the new pool & pool room. It's going to be a difficult choice between evenings spent on the stoep or at the new pool. Such a stunning home to visit.
