Lovely atmosphere but the food was overly rich, overly sweet. The mushroom pate was lovely but the risotto (bland but very rich), sweet potato crotes (too much cumin) and chocolate truffle dessert (beetroot was overpowering in the ice cream.) was all a bit strange on the palate. We wont be recommending it.

We spent a beautiful day exploring the gardens and enjoyed a delicious and affordable lunch under the trees at the Spens restaurant, with friendly efficient service. The kids had a wonderful time exploring and enjoying the play areas and lawns, with something to appeal to all ages. An all round highly recommended experience.

This is an amazing restaurant that serves real quality food in a fine dining manner with the difference that a meal is more than enough for a big person. The waitress was very helpfull and friendly. There was no delay in bringing the food to the table, despite the full restaurant. I can recommend this institution to anyone who wants a special occasion.

This is a beautiful place situated in the wine land of Ceres. A lovely chapel for weddings, more than enough places to take memorable photos. Wheelchair access to every building, very nice and clean toilet facilities, a Pantry to get lovely food and drinks, another shop on the hike trail for Bosjes souvenirs. There is a play park for young and older kids, they can enjoy a zip line or water features. The trails are easy to walk in a very relaxed atmosphere. I recommend this place as a memorable outing.
