🌻🍷❤️ Wonderful stay at Leipzig Country House and Winery! Bianca was incredibly hospitable and a pleasure to communicate with. Our long weekend getaway with 6 friends was absolutely perfect, thanks to her warm welcome and the lovely facilities. The beds were super comfortable, and rooms were neat and clean - couldn't ask for more! We had a braai and had some Leipzig wine which is definitely worth drinking a bottle or two!! :) Highly recommend! Thank you to the Leipzig team ♡

Oh where to start… Like a highschool Jock Leipzig reminds me of a once forgone peak, where the potential was there but is currently living below expectations. Leipzig truly is a picturesque wine farm painted with a beautiful back drop of Cape Fold Mountain Belt, it’s a shame that the maintenance leaves a lot to be desired. From the leafs that have been lying around since winter across the property (in front of rooms, lapa areas and basically everywhere you could see) to the fridge that didn’t work in my room or maybe the door left standing against the common area. On the final evening we split my bed into two single beds to accommodate my cousin (keep in mind my other family members were charged equal to me even through they had 2 members in their rooms and I was alone prior to this evening) despite this I was told I need to pay 2400 the following day as the beds were split… THATS THE PRICE OF A NEW ROOM! Following this ridiculous statement we refused. I would’ve put this out sooner in the comfort of my hotel room unfortunately in 2026 my room had neither signal or WiFi as the most accessible wifi point was near the common area a walk away. I was also not too keen to stay for breakfast the following morning. I’d suggest hiring a gardener and perhaps a handy man and Leipzig can start its path back towards fulfilling its potential.

Beautiful spot on this earth with great service! We stayed at the Heimat self catering house and did a mix of braai (there’s a huge braai inside and outside) and eating on site-the food is fantastic and wine aswell obviously!! We brought our toddler and everyone was so super friendly-including the dog Tinka and cat Mia. Thanks for making our days there so special.

What a Wonderful experience, from start to end. Can absolutely recommend to anyone who wants to book a stay away from home, you can't go wrong! Brilliant service, excellent rooms, a lovely breakfast. Top Tier across the board!
