We had a wonderful experience here when travelling with our friends and would have enjoyed staying another night. The hotel itself retains the old charm and beautiful architecture however for us the standout was the service we enjoyed from all the staff. From our check in through to staff in the bar and dinner in the restaurant and at breakfast. Overall a wonderful visit and definitely on our list to return at some stage.

I am currently on sight, and feel like I’m living the life. This hotel is nothing less than heavenly - even my colleagues have sang their praises on our WhatsApp group. The rooms are phenomenal - spacious, pristine, beautifully put together with local flair to make you feel like a chief. Cow hide table over more animal hide, soft lighting, beautiful leather headboard, a mini office, fireplace (decorative), and a bathroom to die for. For entertainment, there’s a tv with satellite channels and a minibar stocked with enough goodies for 2…or 3, if you’re into that 😉 Amenities include neck & back massage, foot massage, facials, and a few swimming pools that can be found right outside your door. Sunrise views are amazing for those Kodak moments, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I honestly can’t fault this place, it’s truly deserving of all 5 stars.

Wonderful and cozy, far above our expectations. In a middle of South Africa, in the Karoo Area, such luxurious and confortable hotel. The rooms are spacious and very confortable. The bathroom is of the size of many budget hotel rooms. It did came with a bottle of wine and some confort foods as amenities. The bed and the linen was really confortable, providing a real good rest. The breakfast was a real full meal...and was perfect. My wife doesn't leave the hotel, so nice it was.

Restaurant review. After a lovely meal at the hotel a few months ago we were looking forward to a good break on our roadtrip. The food was tasty enough, but the portions were seriously small. My husband ordered the calamari, which had only 4 small bits of calamari among the beans. My cauliflower would have been a perfect side. We left hungry and disappointed.
