What a lovely experience at Profcon. The staff were so welcoming, kind and friendly. Their hospitality made our stay so lovely. The accommodation and entertainment area was absolutely divine. After along days drive our son had the best time in their play area. Lastly their bobotie was to die for! We will definitely be back next year

We stayed here as a group, booked by our tour company. It was nice enough and they went out of their way to provide a room with a tub as we'd reached out personally. The bed was rock hard and it was too late for us to enquire as to availability of a mattress topper - there are no phones in the rooms/cottages. The next morning the manager lady informed us she didn’t like toppers as they made the beds look untidy - but they do have them. If only we'd asked. Which made it all the worse for us. Unfortunately, there is no way at 10 o’clock at night, in your PJs, to contact reception (assuming it’s open at that hour) and trundling around unfamiliar properties in dark seems a recipe for disaster. A comfy bed is paramount for us, as we would wake up fresh and ready for the long hours on the road - in this case it was not so which is the reason for the 3 stars. Even without installing phones for contact - just an old school notice in the room of the availability of mattress toppers - perhaps sitting on the bed? - we would have dealt with it immediately we arrived and dropped our bags.

We were pleasantly surprised by this guesthouse. Friendly staff, clean room, lovely clean linen and towels. You can eat at their little restaurant, there's a venue, playpark for the kiddies, lovely swimming pool, small store and the cakes are to die for. Wish we'd known about this gem earlier, then we would have stayed longer.

A perfect halfway stop for our road trip! After a long day of driving, the hassle-free check-in was exactly what we needed. The room was clean, with extremely comfortable beds that ensured we were well-rested for the next leg. We were pleasantly surprised by the food. Our son had a blast at the playground which was a great way for him to burn off energy before bedtime. We’ll definitely be making this a regular stop thank you ☺️
