Our stay at Idwala Le Ingwe Lodge was nothing short of magical. The tents are clean, spacious, and beautifully set up—offering comfort while still feeling close to nature. The views are absolutely breathtaking, the kind that make you pause and just take it all in. Be prepared for a bit of adventure—the drive up to the tents is quite steep (definitely adds a little thrill, lol), but it’s all part of the experience. The hike is a real highlight: scenic, peaceful, and incredibly rewarding. A perfect escape if you’re looking to unwind, reconnect, and soak in some truly stunning surroundings.

An exceptional lodge in the middle of the West Rand’s nature, just an hour from Jo’burg and Pretoria. Spacious and luminous, cozy and comfy, it boasts all the necessary amenities for a peaceful vacation and relaxation. Sunsets are amazing. Unfortunately, the shower cabin leaks and hot and cold water may get extreme even in the middle. Two small issues, one with the gate’s control and water system, were fixed fast. Celeste was so attentive.

Loved the place. Tranquil. Beautiful Views. Well equipped. Quick response. We enjoyed our stay. Now I want to try all their accommodation options!

The location is perfect. The Place is also nice, right in the center of nature. The house was clean and we had all the utensils and cutlery. The Pool was clean Bedrooms very clean and nice, beds very comfy and bedding also clean. We had the best stay really!!! the only thing i can ask is: Allow music but until certain time, maybe until 22hrs. I understand that all of us if not most, needs some peace and quite and listen to the nature. But Music must be allowed.
