We had a wonderful time. Beautiful farmland location with horses surrounded by peace & quiet. Large secured pet friendly gardens integrating well with spacious units. This is truly a doggy heaven. The fireplace was wonderful. Only gripe we had was that the bathroom needs some work. Bathtub cold water tap was not working and shower did not open fully

This place is so beautiful. Having visited the place so many times before, it's so disappointing to see such a drop in the basics... the rooms are not clean at all! We had a problem with bats & frogs (not your problem) but when we moved the beds & couches to remove them, you can clearly see that no cleaning was done in months. The kitchen utensils were dirty, they needed proper cleaning before being used!The curtains & the bedside carpets are disgusting! You can see they have not been washed in months! The bedding also smells horrible! Problem with electricity...even though you are not responsible directly, the least you can do is give un update so your guests are not left wondering! You can do better!

Bit of a job to get there as Google says you’ve gone past; ignore that, carry on down the track and follow the signs. The cabins are rustic but very well equipped and the surroundings are lovely; the birdlife is spectacular. There is no reception so had to call a number in Joburg to get wood, which duly arrived a bit later. An irritating disturbance was 3 Alsatians which insisted on barking aggressively and continuously at me; the lady in the adjacent cottage apologised saying that they belonged to the owner who was overseas and she was just taking care of them. Overall a nice getaway but it would be a great improvement with hands on management at the site. Having said that, they were able to assist me promptly with sending my forgotten toiletry bag to Jozi.

I came for a little stay to these cottages for three nights. My cottage was absolutely beautiful. Absolutely spotless and beautiful bedding and a wonderful little hideaway. Even though I was alone I had I had friendly little animals coming to say hello daily and didnt feel alone at all. The manager is on fire! She runs a tight ship with energy and a wonderful smile. The staff welcomed me with big smiles on their faces. I had the most beautiful stay thank you so much!
