Just ordered food for pick up, got home and I’m so disappointed. The chips are those ready-chopped frozen chips you get from grocery stores, the “juicy crumbed chicken” I ordered is not crumbed, nor is it juicy. The potato salad has a slimy texture… If I lived closer I would drive back to get a refund now, but it’s not worth the hassle. I was expecting something more edible for the price. I will be disposing of this food and making myself something else. Really unhappy, I don’t know why there are so many good reviews on this page…

What an absolute little gem! If you're passing through Nottingham Road, Bierfassl is definitely worth a stop. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed by a warm, cosy country atmosphere. The crackling fireplace, charming German décor, and relaxed ambience make it the perfect place to unwind. The food was excellent, with authentic German flavours and generous portions, and the friendly service made the experience even more enjoyable. It feels like one of those special places that has plenty of character and makes you want to come back. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and can highly recommend Bierfassl to anyone looking for great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a true Midlands country experience. We'll certainly be back!

Hands down the best dining experience in the Midlands! This rustic, Austrian-inspired pub has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere that you immediately feel at home. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and attentive, which made the experience even more special. The food was absolutely delicious — the Eisbein was perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavour. A real highlight! The Ginger Ninja ginger beer was out of this world and incredibly refreshing. We also did the beer tasting and gin tasting, both of which were fantastic and well worth it, offering a great variety and quality. It’s also dog-friendly, which we loved, and the kids’ play area is excellent, making it a perfect spot for families. There’s something for everyone here. We ended up staying far longer than planned because it was just that good — great food, great drinks, great vibes. An absolute 5-star experience and a place we’ll definitely return to again and again!

The best dining experience on our Midlands trip. The service was beyond amazing... And so accommodating to our 4 legged companion. Honestly this spot is not to be missed. The eisbein, perfection.... With stunning apple sauce.... DO NOT MISS OUT
