About Loxley House

Luxury Guest House Loxley House Luxury Guest House offes an exceptional standard of accommodation, in a quiet and tranquil setting in the beautiful Natal Midlands.

Loxley House Luxury Guest House has 15 spacious, en-suite, garden-facing suites, equipped with high quality, very comfortable beds (choice of king size or three-quarter single), linen and duvets. Throws and electric blankets are provided for your additional comfort during those chilly Midlands winter nights. In addition, all our rooms feature a hospitality tray and complimentary guest amenities. The main house holds six suites and separate to the main house, we have a block of five rooms that features under-floor heating. We have recently added another block of 4 rooms bringing the total to 15 rooms, all equipped with DStv. The main house also features a private wing holding two suites - ideal for a family unit, where parents and their children (and staff) can be in separate suites, yet stay in close proximity. In addition, two of the suites in the main house hold an extra bed - ideal for a family unit sharing accommodation. I recently had the absolute pleasure of staying at Loxley House in the beautiful Nottingham Road area of KwaZulu-Natal, and it was everything I hoped for and more. From the moment you drive through the gates, you feel like you've arrived at a true sanctuary of luxury and tranquility. The property itself is stunning — elegant, well-maintained grounds with a wonderful mix of classic charm and modern comforts. Our room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and impeccably clean, with high-quality linens and thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The attention to detail is evident everywhere. What really stood out was the exceptional service. The staff are warm, professional, and genuinely attentive without being intrusive. They went out of their way to make our stay special. Breakfast is a highlight — fresh, generous, and absolutely delicious, with plenty of local produce and options to suit every taste. The wellness centre and spa add another fantastic dimension. Whether you're looking for total relaxation or a romantic getaway, the facilities (including the pools and peaceful surroundings) are perfect. Nottingham Road's scenic location makes it an ideal base for exploring the Midlands — from farm stalls and breweries to hiking and golf nearby. Loxley House strikes the perfect balance between refined luxury and warm, personal hospitality. It's easily one of the prettiest guesthouses I've stayed at in, in a while. Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone needing a peaceful escape. We'll definitely be back! Rating: 10/10 – Worth every penny.

We have had the most fantastic 2 nights here! Lovely big room, spacious for us sharing with our teenage son. The most delicious breakfast. Such friendly staff.

The lady that Greeted me was very very friendly and made me feel at home! I was the only guest for the evening and they made me a little breakfast buffet and cooked a warm breakfast as well. It was over the Easter Weekend and they offered some Spa treatments there as well. The room and bathroom was clean 🧼 and there is an honesty bar for the drinks you wish to have. It was very quiet and calming and just beautiful!
