A truly fantastic experience staying here at Nyaleti. Firstly the owners Marlon and Ann were warm, helpful and hospitable. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and well maintained. The breakfast was also very tasty. Ann also helped us tailor our game drives on arrival from what we had planned on, which was really key on the experience. If I ever came back to this town I would 100% stay here again. Thank you again for the fantastic experience.

We had the absolute best time staying here in March. The animals roaming the area makes it super exciting. Super friendly owners/hosts. Rooms are perfect. Also the arranged safaris we’re amazing. A big big thank you to Moos, who led our bushwalk.

Cosy little lodge in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate. Amazing service, very friendly, supportive with any issues (our flight was cancelled), providing great tips for day trips, safaris and recommendations for restaurants in the area. We felt very welcome. Breakfast is very tasty! The cherry on the top was that a warthog family lived under the terrace of our spacious and well equipped bungalow. What an experience! We will definitely come back.

My wife and I just returned from an awesome 17-day trip to Africa. We stayed in 6 different accommodations, took 7 airplane rides, visited 3 countries and saw the full array of animals on our game drives. One of the highlights of our trip was our 3-night stay at the Nyaleti Lodge. Owners Ann and Marlon have created an oasis of beautifully landscaped grounds, contemporary and beautifully decorated lodges and a warm and welcoming environment. It is hard to pick out one special moment. Was it Marlon’s delicious famous French Toast for breakfast by the pool while a family of warthogs wandered by? Was it the monkeys and various types of antelopes that always seemed to be around? Was it the Bush Trail hike out their back yard to the private game reserve where after only a few minutes we came face to face with giraffes? Or the quick game drive around the property and the zebras just feet away? Or the roaring fire in the boma sipping a drink and enjoying the sounds of the wild while sharing experiences of the day? Or the optional excursions and day trips that Ann can arrange? Or was it the fun restaurants that Ann recommended and made reservations at for us? Or the warmth, charm and efforts of Ann and Marlon to provide an exceptional guest experience? It was a combination of all these things!! If you are visiting the south of Africa, make sure you spend some time with these incredible hosts and their magical Lodge.
