Our family stay at Rukiya Camp was absolutely exceptional and will remain an unforgettable memory for all of us. The entire team was amazing: always smiling, caring, available, and incredibly kind. From the very beginning, we felt welcomed like family. A huge thank you to Liberty, our safari guide, who made this adventure truly unforgettable with his passion, professionalism, and kindness. Every safari was magical, full of incredible discoveries and emotions for both adults and children. Special thanks as well to Femke and Khelia, who greatly contributed to making our stay even more enjoyable through their kindness, availability, and thoughtful attention throughout our trip. And what can we say about the food… absolutely outstanding! Every meal was refined, varied, and prepared with exceptional care — truly worthy of a Michelin-star chef. Each dining experience was a delight in such a beautiful setting. This trip was a complete change of scenery: breathtaking nature, peaceful surroundings, total immersion, and unforgettable family memories. A unique experience that we recommend without hesitation. We had such a great experience at Rukiya for 10 days. Rinette and Kayla were excellent hosts and made sure we had everything we needed 24/7. Jess was our guide and she was fantastic. She was very patient and shared her wealth of knowledge with us through many game drives and additional animal / wildlife experiences. The level of professionalism of all the staff was exceptional and noticed by us as well as other guests throughout our stay. Lodge was well kept and very clean. Would definitely return to Rukiya in the future and would recommend to all. Cheers!

I stayed here with 2 friends for the start of our trip to South Africa and what can I say… We absolutely LOVED this place!!! We stayed in the River House which was great, we had our own terrace with a jacuzzi (you have to pay a ”fire up” fee if you want to get it heated). The food was superb and everyone from the lodge staff was SO nice!! We did 3 out of 4 game drives with Liberty and one with Jess, both are very knowledgeable, they were happy to answer all of our many questions and you could tell how much passion and respect they have for all the animals. Would definitely book this again. Big thank you to everyone, specifically Jess, Rinette and Liberty!

This wasn’t my first trip - so I knew what to expect. Great food, staff and wildlife experience - at great rates. I did a lovely bush walk and learned so much and on the game drives saw lots of wildlife - nearly all the big 5 (I only missed buffalo). Guides know everything. Amazing elephant viewing! Having been on safari a few times, I’ll keep coming back to Rukiya!
