As first time Dullstroom visitors we are enjoying our stay so much. I was a little worried about a review a read earlier this week but now I understand so to cap that review here are the facts: The cottages provide rustic English charm, they are warm and comfortable, they offer everything you need. They are clean even though they are old, this emphasising the rustic charm. The horses are extremely well taken care of, and so friendly they roam freely during the day. Ensure you take a carrot or sugar cube snack for them. The dog is child friendly and very happy. The staff are so kind and friendly. Fishing prices are market related. Horse riding I will say is a bit too pricey, but all ages are welcome and they are very tame. The campsites and ablution blocks are very well kept and extremely clean. I don't want to leave.

Seemed very run down, no open facilities for a cooldrink, lots of broken tree branches, we weren't sure if they were upgrading the front entrance. However the horse riding was amazing and highly recommend R340 for an hour.

The Superstay.io team loves Dullstroom on the Dam. The fishing here at the dam is epic, and you can go on horseback rides. You can have a braai here. The reception is well stocked, so is their bar. It's also an epic campsite, with a very relaxing atmosphere that's conducive for family environments. I can highly recommend a stop here.

Dullstroom on the Dam is a great place to use as a base for exploring Dullstroom. A bonus is the surrounding Nature Reserves, giving you lots of options for trail runs and hiking. The accommodation itself was okay, the cottages are quite dated, and we had a light bulb in the kitchen that stopped working, and a bedside lamp that was missing a light bulb. Besides those few minor details, the place was good, and I would stay there again, especially to do some more runs in the area.
