On an ice cold morning what can be better than a nice warm space with strong cappuccino. You walk in and a fire is going and gas heaters are giving it a warm and cozy atmosphere. The waiters are friendly and the service good. The nicest toasted steak home made Ciabata I have ever had. Extensive menu to eat and drink. Dog friendly

We had such a wonderful experience at The Banker's Bar and Grill. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with the fireplaces creating the perfect cosy setting. It was also lovely to find a pet-friendly restaurant where everyone felt welcome, with a smoking section. The food was absolutely amazing, the service was terrific, and the coffee was honestly to die for. Every part of the experience felt thoughtful and well done. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dullstroom.

As a first-time visitor, I had high expectations for this restaurant, especially since it is dog-friendly. The exterior of the establishment is beautiful, and the spacious layout was promising. Unfortunately, my first impression was not favorable. The restaurant features a very formal, dark non-smoking section, while the more open and airy side is designated for smokers, which is unsettlingly close to the children's play area. The ambiance was lacking; there was no music, and the only sound was that of extremely loud customers. To my shock, I witnessed a patron smoking a harsh cigar with an extremely strong odor. It was surprising that no one reprimanded him, which made my dining experience quite uncomfortable. Even if it's a designated smoking section, allowing cigars seems excessive. The smell was nauseating and made it difficult to enjoy my meal. Speaking of the food, it was very average. My pulled pork did not meet my expectations at all. This will unfortunately be my first and last visit. As a Google Level 9 reviewer, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

The bangers and mash special pulled us in. Friendly and efficient service, but no surprise as we were just about the only diners. Wednesday in Dullstroom off season is clearly a quiet time. The menu is impressive and our "special" was delicious and had generous portions. The real log fire was welcoming. Even the background music was great. The team here say they get really busy at weekends and holidays. Try it yourself when in Dullstroom.
