I was not booked in your place but friends of mine was and they had a good time.We were playing the first ever full Rural Cup at Klein Ovies in Caledon.It was a great weekend filled with good chess games.I'd recommend your place anytime to anyone though!

Beautiful but not safe. First and foremost, the house and cottage are absolutely stunning! The work and love put in can be felt in every room. We used both the house and cottage for two nights around our wedding. It had everything we needed for getting ready with family and our wedding party. Everything was spotless and there were designated areas for an outside braai and indoor braai. I can imagine it would be awesome staying there for longer periods of time with close friends or family! However, when we first arrived the lock was being fixed. We weren't told why but assumed maybe they're just doing maintenance as no one mentioned anything. That first night, two cars got broken into - in the designated parking areas we were told to use. It felt like a targeted break-in as they went straight for our friend's expensive audio setup. When the police officer came to take fingerprints, they let us know that the couple before us also got broken into - but that while they were away at their wedding, the house got ransacked and all of their belongings got taken. Obviously living in SA we are aware of the risks, but the experience was still terrifying during what should have been a relaxed and joyous occasion. While Die Tuin Huis is amazing and I would return, be very vigilant about crime targeting the guest house and the parking areas.

For R700 per person per night sharing you'd expect a warm shower.
