Had lunch at the Bistro twice during Kamers March 2026. Excellent food, friendly staff and special attention given to my complex dietary requirements, which I appreciated! Beautiful setting with seating inside and outside.

Let me tell about allee bleue I have been wine tasting in capetown for several months now and this was so far my best choice to be waiters that knows what they are selling to you and the wine is so divine thank you to the waiter Jowan for letting me expiernce such amazing wine and having a good time with fun and laughs

We visited on the Wine Tram, and this was our first stop. We've driven past this wine farm so many times on our way to other estates, especially since we live so close, so we were a little skeptical at first. What a wonderful surprise! The young gentleman who hosted our tasting gave us an exceptional experience. He was knowledgeable, thorough in his presentation, and went above and beyond to make us feel genuinely welcome. His passion and hospitality truly made our visit memorable. We will definitely be back and highly recommend stopping here if you're exploring the area!

Unfortunately, at this winery, the pursuit of profit is prioritized over the health of the guests. We had a reservation for a holiday cottage in January 2026. On the day of our arrival, a wildfire broke out in the immediate vicinity. When we asked at check-in whether the situation was dangerous, we were assured that everything was fine. We trusted this assessment, having been assured that they would take action the moment things became unsafe. Regrettably, the fire continued to spread, and the holiday cottage became filled with an unbearable stench of smoke. It was no longer possible to spend any time outdoors, either. We were forced to leave abruptly during the night after our child began experiencing breathing difficulties due to the heavy smoke; we spent the rest of the night at a hospital in Cape Town. The following day, the general manager informed us that we were entitled to at least a full refund. Unfortunately—even after five months—we are still waiting for this refund and are simply being given the runaround. I cannot recommend this winery; it is abundantly clear that the profit from a single overnight stay is valued more highly than the health of its guests.
