It’s a beautiful estate however lacking of feeling treated living up to the price per night for a junior suite … The room is very big, clean and the bed is very Comfy, our bed sheets had some holes. There are some nice design elements but the whole experience is somewhat lacking of attention to detail and that luxury or premium feel. The room is missing some personal touches as well as practical elements eg. Bin next to the desk and in the bathroom, the kitchenette has no tea towel, a little plate or a filled up mini bar… the terrace looks quite sad and plants growing wild and the little water pond looks like it needs some care … the little beautiful patio in the back has no chairs whatsoever … no pool towels available that you have to call the reception and wait for them to be delivered, next day our towels and coffee cups haven’t been removed from the pool until lunch time … no paper tissues etc. in the bathroom which you would expect at that price level … Whilst being there it’s been very windy that window frames made some odd sounds which keeps you awake… When coming home in the evening it’s hard to find the way from the parking to the room as there’s not enough lights on the pathways… we had to use our torch on the phone. The estate has such a high potential but needs some serious attention to detail and services. Location wise it’s in the middle of nowhere which is not an issue, but it’s neither Franschhoek nor Paarl - you have to keep that in mind. This could be such a wonderful little sanctuary but it comes a bit across as a money making machine instead of feeling true passion for hospitality which you find a lot in the western cape at a much lower price! My whole rating completely excludes the bistro!! The hospitality establishment and bakery is very nice with great service and a wonderful atmosphere on the terrace!

Most amazing experience and lunch venue, unbelievably friendly smiling waiters and helpful/attentive. Gobsmacked delicious flavored food time after time arriving from kitchen to our table, we've never ate so much with a lunch sitting and you wanted to try everything. Well done to the amazing Chefs/assistants and restaurant staff, this was a memorable experience for us as a family and celebrating my husband's Bday. I would highly recommend their Al Fresco family lunch and we'll be back to experience the picnic next.

This property does not honour bookings! I paid in full for two units, non-refundable. I have paid for flights, jazz festival tickets, etc based on finding accommodation. The property cancelled my booking mere weeks before the event without even the courtesy of a phone call.

La Paris Estate is such a beautiful wedding venue. The setting is absolutely stunning, with that classic Franschhoek charm, and the spaces feel both elegant and welcoming. It’s the kind of venue that photographs beautifully and creates such a special atmosphere for a wedding day. The team are professional and attentive, making the whole experience feel smooth and well organised. A really lovely choice for couples planning their big day.
