Leeu Estates in Franschhoek has to be one of the most beautiful properties I've ever had the privilege of staying at. From the moment you enter the property, to the time you leave, you are immersed in Leeu's world. The perfectly curated art collection, perfectly manicured gardens and wonderful staff make for a phenomenal stay.

Me and my wife went for a massage at the spa. They offered the best facilities I feel a spa could offer. The service was on a next level, with your needs as a client being regarded as top priority. In terms of the treatment itself, some of the best I have had. Special thanks to Thato and her colleague that messaged my wife, both did a terrific job.

As part of my birthday weekend, I chose to spend a day here, and it was everything I hoped it would be and more. From the moment I drove into the estate, I was completely taken by the beauty of the surroundings. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking and creates an immediate sense of calm, making you feel as though you have stepped into a world far removed from the demands of everyday life. I began my day at the spa, where I was welcomed with such warmth and genuine hospitality. The treatment was exceptional and left me feeling completely restored. There was something incredibly soothing about the entire experience. It felt like a true moment of pause, allowing me to relax, recharge, and simply be present. Afterwards, I spent some time at the pool, taking in the peaceful atmosphere and appreciating the tranquillity that seems to flow through every corner of the estate. It was the perfect continuation of a day dedicated to self-care and reflection. I later enjoyed lunch at The Dining Room, which was another highlight of the experience. The food was absolutely divine, and every dish was beautifully prepared. Paired with the stunning views and the calm, elegant setting, it made for an unforgettable dining experience. The staff were equally wonderful, offering attentive service while making me feel genuinely welcomed and comfortable throughout. What made this visit so special was the way every detail came together so seamlessly. The beauty of the surroundings, the sense of peace, the exceptional treatment, the delicious food, and the heartfelt hospitality created an experience that felt both indulgent and deeply restorative. This was undoubtedly one of the highlights of my birthday weekend and a memory I will treasure. I left feeling refreshed, content, and grateful for such a beautiful experience. Without question, it is a place I look forward to returning to.

Lovely Hotel and Dining BUT.... stayed for my mothers 60th Birthday in January. Lovely Estate and fantastic dining on-site. The booked and pre-paid Spa treatment for my mother could not be completed due to wild fires affecting the area and also our travel. I was promised a full refund by the in-house Spa "Healing earth". It has been 6 months and >30 E-Mails without a full refund. Today I learned that the spa is no longer operational in the hotel. A complete disgrace having to chase my money for months and I feel scammed. A real shame for such a prestige legacy property.
