A slice of heaven! Whenever l am in Franshoek this is my go to choice of restaurant, tucked away in a beautiful courtyard with a Parisian vibe. The decor alone is worth the visit but with a fantastic selection of food and dreamy cocktail and wine selection- what is there not to love! Mon Amour has an excellent wine selection, high lighting some of the local boutique wineries at very competitive prices compared to other menus in the village. I love the variety of foods on the menu - firm favourites are the curries and the sea bream ( pizzas delicious as well). I am often a solo traveller and whenever l visit Mon Amour l am treated with respect and kindness and always given a good table and not hidden away like in some other establishments. Highly recommend Lionel’s Friday night jazz. I would frequent Mon Amour for lunch and dinner or even just a cheeky glass of wine in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend and will be back.

Mon Amour is a true Hidden Gem. The food is phenomenal and it is matched by impeccable service and eye-catching decor. My partner could not stop complimenting their French 75 - truly a masterpiece restaurant that's not loved on enough. You simply must go!

Had the most amazing birthday brunch with some friends at this exquisite establishment. Saira and her team were extremely friendly and helpful and made the day extra special. The food was delicious and beautiful and more than I could have hoped for. We also enjoyed the very friendly and talented pianist who entertained us the whole morning. A touch of Paris meets carnival. This little gem in the heart of Franschhoek is worth the visit. Delicious food, with fantastic flavours. The menu has something for everyone. Don't be fooled by starters vs mains, the portion size is very generous. The owner is delightful and staff are well trained and friendly. The overall experience was great. Try the mussels, and the veg samoosas, they are exceptional. The calamari was also perfectly cooked with a really well crumbed panko. This place is perfect for an occasion, such as a baby shower, birthday or just a little dress up date. Try it and enjoy.
