Sadly, only part of the Brenton Community Hall can be used due to long standing structural damage to part of the building (ground subsidence at the rear of the main hall). The amazing Brenton Rate Payers Association (BRA) is actively trying to cooperate with the local municipality to rectify the issue and get it back to its former glory days. In the meantime the wonderful community at Brenton make every effort to keep the property in tip top shape, and still actively and regularly use the side room which serves the BRA and Brenton residents well for meetings and community events! Well done Brentonites! Keep up the sterling work!

The Brenton Community Hall is closed since 2021 for major structural repairs. Entrance hall still being used a few days a month as an outpost for basic Knysna Municipality services.
