We had a wonderful stay at Elephant Hide in Knysna. The room was amazing — spacious, beautifully designed, and the bed was incredibly comfortable after a long drive. The bathroom was stunning and felt luxurious, perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and served with a lovely view. The whole experience was peaceful, comfortable, and just what we needed. Definitely a place we’d love to come back to — solid 9/10 stay!

Our 3 night stay was lovely, service from the team Fish and John and our host Mandy was excellent. Our only complaint was our room, it was described perfectly as a partial view, after spending days driving to Knysna to look at a timber fence was very disapointing, our travel agent booked the accomodation and I failed to fully investigate her recomendation. We dont exactly know pricing but asked our agent for 4-5 star so can only assume it wasnt cheap. As we are both in our 60's the internal stairs are quite dangerous at night when trying to find the bathroom. overall our experience was good despite above.

This is a place for getting away from everything. Excellent welcoming staff, especially Johnny The next morning my vehicle was even being washed !!

Great secluded huts with beautiful views of the lagoon and the lush gardens from the top of hill. We truly enjoyed our stayed. The staff were amazing. The only negative was the shower water mixer didn’t function so we only had cold water. The last stretch of the road leading to the property is full of potholes and in dire need of repair. They closed the lounge in the early evening. Still a very unique experience and real value for money.
