This Country Hotel has given us the most wonderful stay. The gardens are breathtaking. 2 pools and shaded decks to lounge around. The staff were unbelievable and could not do enough for us. Rooms were big, luxurious and modern. Padel courts on site were such a bonus too. Pictures on the website and brochures are accurate. The restaurant on site is called The Social Eatery and is wonderful. Location of the Hotel is great too, right at the entrance to Knysna from the Sedgefield side. It’s in a valley off the main road so has no lagoon view but has lovely Mountain views and is in a very quiet hollow. I cannot recommend this place enough.

We had the most wonderful Mother's day luncheon at the Knysna Hollow. When booking we asked for a warm cosy spot and were greeted by Francois who showed us to our perfect table close to the warm fire. Our waiter Busi was very attentive and both she and Francois gave us the greatest service. The food was delicious and the ambiance very welcoming. With inclement weather, we were even escorted to the car with umbrellas. We would recommend the Knysna Hollow anytime for an exceptional meal! Andy and Alison Muir

Lovely grounds. I spy pickle ball courts. I slept like I was never going to get up again (some of the best comfort this trip was had here). Room Service is available. Visitors can enjoy Featherbed Reserve (just 20-30 minutes by car from this location). The estate itself is beautiful, modern, and well maintained. Each unit provides a high feeling of privacy. Uber is also available in case the goal is to shop closer to mall shopping areas.

Ate there tonight and wasn't very impressed, they had no Calamari tentacles? The burgers we ordered were very dry and the patty smelt wild, obviously not freshly made? The cheesecake was dry and definitely not fresh, ordered a scope of vanilla ice cream which they advertise as creamy which its not! My hubby ordered the ice cream and hot dark chocolate sauce which wasn't hot and wasn't dark chocolate it was cold milk chocolate that hardened on the not creamy ice cream. Our overall experience there doesnt warrant us to want to eat there again! Very disappointed!!!
