Beautiful hotel with friendly staff, great restaurant on site and bakery too for the morning/lunch nibbles. Stunning views over the water, small pool in the decking, bikes and canoes to borrow for guests and really lovely touches throughout.

Great experience of the stay. 5/5 across all things. Good location with the market close-by and the waterfront as well. Sive, Analisha and every staff were quite helpful.

We had the most wonderful stay at The Lofts Boutique Hotel in Knysna. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how stylish and beautifully designed everything is, yet it still feels warm and inviting — not pretentious at all, just genuinely charming. The location on Thesen Island is perfect. You can walk to great restaurants and shops, and the views over the lagoon are stunning, especially at sunset. It’s such a peaceful and special spot. The staff were honestly some of the best we’ve ever encountered — friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. You can really feel how much they care about making your stay perfect. And the food and drinks were a real highlight! Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, whether it was breakfast or evening cocktails by the water. Overall, The Lofts Boutique Hotel has that rare combination of style, comfort, and genuine warmth. We left feeling completely relaxed and can’t wait to come back again.
