A hidden gem in Prince Albert. My night at the Swartberg Hotel was a highlight. It blends that Karoo charm with nice modern touches. The rooms are comfortable, the gardens and heritage feel are really special, and the staff were warm and genuinely welcoming. Dinner was excellent, local flavours desperate lamb shank, relaxed atmosphere, all very Karoo. Perfectly placed for exploring the pass, but also a place you just want to slow down and enjoy. I’d happily recommend it to anyone. A side note WiFi is super slow! Just in case you need it for work.

Very beautiful old hotel.. the rooms were great only thing missing was an electric blanket in winter.. the staff went out of their way to make sure we could still get dinner at our late arrival at 10pm... excellent service. I will definitely make use of this hotel again... an amazing experience

We had an exceptional stay. Our room was so clean and tidy. Cooling off in the pool was awesome. Staff is well dressed, friendly and professional. We got packed breakfast on request. Dinner was delicious and very well prepared & presented.

Located in the main road and close to everything. Our room was spacious with a lovely sized bathroom and a tiny balcony too. There's a lovely sparkling swimming pool with nice loungers to lie on as well. Breakfast was good too
