About Manley Wine Estate Country House

A short walk across the lawns from the thatch roof Manor House are seven large double bed and breakfast rooms which are arranged around a shaded courtyard adjacent to the pool.

We also have two linked thatched-roof family cottages that are nestled beside the dam at the end of the property. Each cottage can accommodate four persons and is ideal for small families. All our rooms are equipped with a private en-suite bathroom, TV with guesthouse bouquet channels, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, mini-fridges, built-in safes, and WIFI internet access. Most of our rooms are equipped with their own fireplaces, making them especially cozy in winter, when we have been known to get snowfall on the mountains. Breakfast is included in the cost of your stay if you book one of our double luxury guest rooms. Our cottages are completely self-catering and breakfast and housekeeping services are not included but can be added on at an additional fee. The premises has a large outdoor swimming pool and a communal thatched Lapa with a large braai (barbecue) area. Manley Wine Estate provides a scenic haven away from home, where adventure awaits just around the corner up into the mountains. Manley Wine Estate is a truly enchanting destination for your special day. Our function venue boasts the perfect blend of rustic charm and elegance, providing a picturesque setting for weddings and events for up to 120 guests. I did a wine tasting with my partner and a friend at Manley Wine Estate and I’ve really enjoyed. Markus, the owner is very charming and welcoming. He introduced to a nice range of great pinotages and white wines from the region. His insights were very valuable to understand better how the wines in his estate are made. We could feel his passion during the tasting. I really recommend the place!

Stayed for a few days for a special birthday party. Exceptional service, food & wine! Try the award winning (Grenache) Rosé, the Sauvignon Blanc, the Cab. Sauvignon & the Pinotage - all excellent. There's also a mini-brewery for those wanting a beer or stout. Markus was a fantastic host & ensured all ran like clockwork. Our accommodation was very clean & comfortable. Tulbagh is a very scenic town and area - make sure you visit!
