I recently got married at this beautiful venue and while the setting itself is absolutely breathtaking the overall experience was unfortunately disappointing due to poor communication and service. Planning a wedding is already stressful and I found that the lack of responsiveness from the venue added unnecessary pressure. I repeatedly requested a call ahead of the wedding which was included in the package I paid for but my messages were consistently ignored and even a scheduled appointment by Cindy was missed, with no apology to reschedualling. I had a fall and injured myself there was no basic first aid available not even a bandage. What was most concerning was the lack of urgency or care shown in that moment. In addition I only managed to confirm my menu a few days before the wedding due to the difficulty in scheduling communication with the organizer. There were also issues on the day. The canapés were not served as intended. I was also given very limited pre drink options only to find out the day before the wedding that there were more options available which was frustrating. To this day after sharing my concerns with the venue I am still waiting for a response. Cindy acknowledged my message and asked for time until the next day to get back to me but it has now been three weeks with no follow up. This lack of accountability and continued poor communication has been incredibly disappointing and only reinforces my experience with this venue.

Venue is beautiful and great however catering is not up to standard. R300 - R400 paid pp is not worth the food you would get for a buffet. I ordered savoury rice and got white rice. No apology nothing. The meat is not cut professionally for presentation. Plated food is presented like its made at home. I had a meeting to discuss for 1 person that was vegetarian and 2 halaal people i was willing to order that seperate and was assured seperate food will be made and it was not done. On the day of the wedding i just had to go through to not ruin the day.

What a stunning venue. Couldn't imagine more beautiful scenery. The gardens and setting are breathtaking.
