Mogansvlei is a working estate and well worth a visit – relaxing walks through the vineyards and orchards on the property will restore you soul. Visitors return time and time again to experience the absolute beauty and tranquillity of Morgansvlei Country Estate. Situated very close to the village and just over an hour’s drive from Cape Town. There are many activities in the surrounding area to keep guests entertained, with an award winning wine route just waiting to be explored, historic Church Street has 32 provincial monuments and many outdoor activities and attractions not to mention scenic drives in the area. The venue can comfortably cater for small or large groups. There is a beautiful quaint chapel on the premises. The patio runs the full length of the venue and offers exquisite views. Relax on lush green grass. The rooms can accommodate 30 people – there are 15 beautifully decorated rooms and a sumptuous breakfast is included in the price of the room. A sparkling pool with braai area and rows of iceberg roses offers the visitors ample space to relax, listen to the birdsong and soak up the magic of the mountains in the distance. Morgansvlei Country Estate caters for single night getaways to three day weddings, conferences, celebrations, weekend or mid-week stays. The friendly and very professional staff will ensure that your stay will be a memorable one. A beautiful venue to host a wedding. The setting is absolutely stunning, with scenic backdrops that create the perfect atmosphere and breathtaking photos. The food was good, and the service was attentive and well organised. There is a variety of packages available to suit the bridal couple’s needs, including a relaxed pre-wedding braai, which is a lovely touch. Having a chapel on site is very convenient, and there are plenty of comfortable chill zones for guests to enjoy while wedding photos are being taken. Overall, a well-thought-out venue that offers both beauty and functionality for a truly memorable wedding day.

Had a weekend wedding awesome views from our self catering unit, best wedding ever, the venue is equipped with all the best facilities, bride's rooms, grooms room and one of the most beautiful honeymoon suites i've ever seen, as well as a braai room fully equipped which makes for a enjoyable Friday evening family and friends braai evening. Staff and owner was always available, the kids were fishing in the dam in front of the venue, it was a very memorable weekend at a awesome venue

We got married at Morgansvlei in November 2025. Best decision ever! I could not have asked or imagined for a more perfect venue. We spent the entire weekend there and hired out the braai room on Friday for family. Everything was perfect. The rooms were amazing especially the bridal and groom suite! Great communication from the start from the manager and owner. They were so helpful with everything from the planning leading up to the wedding day to the actual day and after cleaning up. One of the main things that attracted us to this place was you could really feel it was a family run business and not just some business trying to make money and charge you extra for everything and anything. I don’t have one bad thing to say. I would highly recommend anyone to choose Morgansvlei for their wedding day. You will not regret it.
