Always a highlight on a trip to Tulbagh. The people are very friendly and the cocktails are great. Watching the sunset from the patio is just so beautiful

It was a cold and wet Sunday afternoon around 4pm and we hadn't eaten all day when we arrived, so we didn't want something too large as dinner was only a few hours away. We both decided on the seafood chowder. It was absolutely delicious and filled with all manner of prawns, mussels and fish. Service was very friendly and enjoyed it immensely sitting next to the roaring fire. We decided to come back for dinner to try the pizzas, and even though 'our' table next to the fire was taken the room was still warm and cosy. The pizzas were HUGE. We could easily have shared one, but leftover pizza is always good for an on the run breakfast.. 😊 They were well topped, but the only thing we didn't really like was the cheese. Very plasticy.... Pity. Once again service was brilliant and friendly. Loved it and will definitely return should we ever find ourselves in Tulbagh again. Some of the other food we saw looked delicious too... Those ribs... 😋 Regretted not ordering them. We'll done everyone.

I had a lovely experience at Olive Terrace Bistro. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The outdoor terrace was relaxing with a nice view, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The staff were friendly and the service was good. I really enjoyed spending time there with family and would definitely recommend this restaurant. 😊

The staff were super friendly and even entertained our one year old. A high chair was ready before we arrived, and they checked in often. The food looked amazing and the place had a classy, high end feel. I had ribs and my wife had risotto; both good, though the rib sauce was a bit too sweet and the risotto just okay. My dark hazelnut hot chocolate wasn’t very dark. Great service and style, just needs a little more from the kitchen, especially considering the price.
