The venue at Roodezand is absolutely stunning. Out deep into nature and its surroundings with beautiful backdrops of nearby mountains, the venue itself gives a tranquil feel and the fresh mountainous air is amazing. It does however get quite hot during the day especially during the summer months, it was about 36°C when I was at the venue on the 23rd November. That said, the buildings is almost movie like, giving a sense of archaic aged buildings. The chapel especially has this old distillery feel and the nearby surrounds just has an overall beautiful backdrop no matter which side you choose to take a picture from. Its about an hour twenty minutes drive from Cape Gate shopping center so if you staybin the northern suburbs its not too far away. Situated just outside the small town of Tulbagh.

My wife and I got married at Roodezand. It was the perfect location. The venue is located in a beautiful setting, with stunning views. The interior is wonderful, with plenty of space for your guests to mingle and dance. The food is delicious, and the staff are friendly and attentive. The owner (Karen) really puts effort in to ensure things work out just the way you want them to. We would highly recommend Roodezand to anyone.
