We had the most incredible curated weekend at Wittedrift Manor, all thanks to Carol. From start to finish everything was so thoughtfully put together and truly special. The Manor itself is absolutely beautiful. The decor alone can keep you busy for hours, with so many unique and carefully chosen pieces in every room. It feels both luxurious and deeply personal. The beds were incredibly comfortable and we all slept so well. Breakfast each morning was fantastic, with both continental and cooked options. The braai packs were generously and thoughtfully prepared. We had more than enough delicious meat and sides, and the lapa area was perfect for our group to sit together and enjoy it all. One of the highlights was the day Carol arranged for us exploring Tulbagh. From wine tasting to olive tasting and a wonderful lunch at a local tavern, it was such a memorable and well put together experience. From the private dining experience at Readers to all the small thoughtful touches throughout the weekend, my family truly enjoyed every moment. We would absolutely recommend this experience and would love to come back again.

We had a lovely stay in this very interesting old Manor House, with very high ceilings and short door frames. The house is filled with lots of art, interesting mometos from all over the world and you can feel the lots of happy memories, the owners had, collecting them. We stayed in a room with a bathroom across the hallway but there are many other beautiful rooms with en suite bathrooms. The bed and linen quality is outstanding and we slept very well. We enjoyed afternoon sundowners by the pool. Carol, the owner and her staff were very welcoming, sharing information on wine farms and restaurants. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Worst management ever. I’ve made a booking in May 2025 well in advance for my stay in February 2026. However, I got told in late January 2026 that the hotel could not proceed with my reservation. Now I have to find a place to stay (with much more expensive cost because it is closer to my travel date now)

Rooms were clean. Accommodation is a Manor, therefore the rooms and decor fit its description. Good service from the staff. They have dogs within the premises and if you not a pet person, that might not be ideal.Overall it was okay 👌
