Booking this place is a complete nightmare. After phoning and emailing with numerous follow ups for someone to actually get back to you with a booking. The staff all provided different information telephonically versus the quotation and invoice received. When queried, even the manager had to call back and “justify” the reasoning for the exorbitant difference in fees. Also even after everything they still did not get my number of people and children correct and made up their own without asking questions or referring to the email. It seems that everyone is not well trained, or trained enough and this hotel has not had enough experience to give you a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Absolutely fantastic! The service is friendly and warm, great food at the restaurant, and very comfortable rooms. Put all of that together with beautiful grounds and a spectacular setting … you have a wonderful stay. Everything here is very comfortable. The lounge and public areas are decorated in a modern African theme. The beds were comfortable and everything was impeccably clean. For the price and quality of service - it cannot be beat. We had a memorable stay… hope to return someday!! As a side-note - the restaurant was extremely accommodating to a serious dietary restriction. They prepared everything for a specific restriction and did so, without making it feel like a bother.

Can’t recommend ANEW highly enough!!! The highlight of our trip to South Africa. Extremely comfortable and luxurious (especially for the price). All of the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Food was delicious. But most importantly, of course, are the many activities in the area, including the game drives in Hluhluwe. It is a stunningly beautiful park. Our guide was fantastic and we were lucky to see lions, rhinos, elephants, and more! But more than just the iconic big animals, we enjoyed all that the park had to offer.

Nice hotel. Awesome buffet dinner. The Zu Lu dancers were great! For some reason we had 13 mosquitoes in our room. That was the reason I couldn't give it a 5 Star
