Only two hours’ drive from Johannesburg. A Privately owned 1,000-hectare bushveld paradise nestled in the foothills of the majestic Waterberg Mountains.

Exclusive use of the lodge and amenities for the whole weekend. We held our wedding weekend at Mountainview Game Ranch and everything was perfect. The organisation from the start of pre-planning to the organisation on the venue was top-noch. Open to requests and super flexible with every idea we had. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They have two venues the main and a second venue for the Friday which makes your organisation and prep for the main venue on Saturday a breeze as your vendors can start working on your decor for the main venue whilst you and your guest enjoy a lovely evening in venue two. The food was excellent, each and every guest came to me and complimented the food, many times saying it is the best wedding food they have ever eaten at a wedding, actually not only at the wedding but throughout the weekend. The bar was stocked excellent (we had a lot of people that like to party a lot) and the bar was able to handle the amount of people at the same time very very well. People did not have to wait for their drinks. The views were just incredible and the accommodation was really nice. The best is that all my guest were able to sleep on the venue the entire weekend. They have accommodation for more than 80 guests on site. As a bride I had my own personal saloon to get ready with make-up and hair, this was super nice as we did not have to find a place to get ready, it made my pre-wedding getting ready with my bridesmaids so comfortable and easy. Loved this. We booked additional pigeon clay shooting to entertain guest the Saturday morning and this was a absolute hit, so much fun. Overall I would highly recommend Mountainview Game Ranch if you are planning a wedding.
