An unforgettable experience at Tau Game Lodge My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and we loved every single moment of it. From the incredible food to the warm, hospitable, and friendly staff, everything was exceptional. The wildlife and nature around the lodge are breathtaking. One of the most special things is the waterhole right in front of the lodge, where you can watch animals gather throughout the day. Our game drive guide Hardy was knowledgeable and funny, which made every game drive even more special. What stood out most was the attention to detail. The team takes care of everything, and we were welcomed with a beautiful surprise for both Valentine’s Day and our honeymoon, which made our stay even more meaningful. I was also pregnant during our stay, and everything went very smoothly. The staff were incredibly attentive and made sure we were comfortable at all times, which we really appreciated. We can wholeheartedly recommend Tau Game Lodge and truly hope to return one day. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that you should not miss.

We had the most amazing dew days at Tau! The views of the watering hole from each room is really special, and every member of staff was so friendly and helpful. The whole experience was made extra special by our ranger Herman, who was so knowledgable about all the animals and always went the extra mile to ensure we had the best sightings. 10/10 to Herman.

We stayed at Tau Lodge in Madikwe and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The hospitality was excellent, and the meals were top-notch. The staff was incredibly friendly, and our guide was knowledgeable and very accommodating. We saw the most amazing sights during our game drives. A special shout-out to Issy—nothing was ever too much for him. Highly recommend Tau Lodge for an unforgettable safari getaway."

Our stay at tau game lodge was the most fantastic holiday we’ve ever been on. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, with air conditioning if it was too hot. The staff cleaned the rooms during the drives in the bush. Our game ranger Lazzy was the most spectacular, friendly, funny, knowledgeable person and made our trip 10x better. The food was nice and the restaurant was in a great location as it was overlooking a water hole, meaning the animals came when you were eating lunch . We stayed in rooms 1 and 2, next to a pool and sometimes the elephants, kudus, and water bucks came to say hello. Thank you Lazzy and Tau. Tho experience was unforgettable and we will definitely be back.
