In the 34 years I have lived in the Garden Route I have passed this little gem and wondered what happens behind the thick treeline between the beautyful red mountains. Now I know. Idyllic, serene, quiet expect for nature sounds and the perfect piecefull getaway. Rooms are clean and efficient. Gardens are stunningly kept. Staff are kind and friendly. Food scrumptious. And the experience a restful, piecefull exuberance. Please do not miss out!

Excellent location next to the Grobbelaars river. The gardens are very well kept with lush green lawns everywhere. There is even a dam for fishing. Various accommodation types are available, e.g. tents next to the river. We stayed in block A. The rooms interior needs upgrading, blinds did not work properly. A kettle and refrigerator are big plusses. Breakfast is bit pricy at R175 per person. We also had an issue with Bookings.com, who said breakfast was included, which was not the case.

A delightful place to stay. Great for a quiet getaway or perfect for families with children. Lots of play areas, friendly animals and 3 swimming pools. There is a dam for fishing, a hiking trail, and a restaurant. Food at restaurant was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.

Rooms were nice. Having a bathroom for each bedroom was great. Braai area was clean and so was kitchen. Pool was a bit slippery and sliding doors to bathroom need a bit of attention. Staff were nice and welcoming. Location is great as it is half way between town and the caves making it a short drive to either. Overall it was a really nice place to stay and would highly recommend.
