We stayed at LA Plume Hotel recently and the staff were excellent and very helpful. The eye to detail was outstanding. One of my concerns was there were no safety rails on the steps outside the rooms and no grab rail inside the very large shower. Also we found the lighting quite poor walking from our suite to the restaurant. The breakfast was excellent but the food for supper was excellent for lamb chops but I found the lamb shank very grisly and tough. I also ordered a Don Pedro and it was the worst I have ever tasted very watery and thin as they are normally quite thick with cream and ice cream. I think the staff should be trained how to make a good one.

Exceptional stay with character, warmth and outstanding hospitality La Plume Boutique Hotel & Spa is a truly special place. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. The setting on the farm in the Little Karoo is beautiful, peaceful and authentic – a perfect place to slow down and enjoy the surroundings. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated and very comfortable, combining classic charm with modern comfort. Everything feels well thought out, without being pretentious. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent. The food was beautifully prepared, full of flavour and clearly based on high-quality local ingredients. The service was attentive, friendly and professional, without ever feeling forced. Breakfast the next morning was equally enjoyable and relaxed. What really stands out is the atmosphere: calm, generous and personal. You can feel that this is not a mass-market hotel, but a place run with care, experience and heart. We wouldn’t necessarily stay for a full week, but as a place to treat yourself for a night or two, La Plume is absolutely perfect. Highly recommended for travellers who appreciate quality, character and a sense of place.

Cute little place to stay in root to the garden tour. Unfortunately the internet did not work well In our rooms. Over all the property was very peaceful and clean, the food was amazing as well!

Wow ! This place is exceptional! The rooms and facilities were perfection, the supper was unforgettable and the staff were friendly, helpful and I have to say I will always remember them .
