Surval Olive Estate was the perfect setting for our daughter’s wedding—everything was absolutely beautiful from start to finish. The venue itself is breathtaking, with lush greenery and a peaceful, elegant atmosphere that made the day feel truly special. The food was delicious and well-prepared, adding to the overall experience. A special mention has to go to Michelle, who was incredible throughout. Her “yes ma’am, no problem ma’am” attitude, calm demeanor, and professionalism made all the difference. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she handled everything with such ease and grace, which really helped keep the day stress-free. An amazing farm. The restaurant is well planned and well run. The staff are great. The olives are amazing. The brandy tasting was great. All in all a gem in the Oudtshoorn vicinity. Will definitely visit again.

We have just left your gorgeous property after a three day stay. Booked for us by Sense of Africa it made a brilliant base for visiting Cango Caves, the Safari Ostrich farm and Meerkats Adventures. We enjoyed the relaxing time too in and around the grounds - some wonderful views across to the mountains, across your own lake and from our lovely room, Nicoise. We found all the staff very friendly and good fun yet professional at all times. Shanel, Debbie and Andrea all deserve a special mention and our waiting staff too particularly Pat and Kieran. The meals were all delicious (if a bit too big sometimes!) The breakfast platters were wonderful. All in all a fabulous venue - even had a wedding on while we were there as well as several large parties and all were handled beautifully. Thank you very much indeed.
