De Zeekoe Guest Farm is located in a peaceful setting just a few minutes' drive (about 7 km) from Oudtshoorn. The staff were very helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. The room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and comfortable. The tranquil surroundings made it a perfect place to relax. We also found that the meerkat tour offered through the hotel was more affordable than booking the same experience through GetYourGuide. Overall, it was an excellent stay and great value for money.

We stayed in a very inviting, comfortable room at the De Zeekoe Guest farm. Our stay included breakfast but we were also enjoyed a sensational dinner in the lovely restaurant . The food was not only delicious but very reasonably priced. The outdoor pool and surrounding area was the perfect spot to relax with a nice cold beverage from the bar after a day of travel. We originally found this stay because we wanted to do a sunrise with meerkat experience. This is one of many activities offered at your De Zeekoe stay and was prebooked by the staff for us which was a bonus. I really loved the luxury bath and all the little touches in our room. De Zeekoe isnt just a stay its an experience !

The farm is truly beautiful, but unfortunately, my husband and I ate some ice cream after dinner that was completely crystallized inside. We weren't aware of this and ate it out of politeness. Later that night, we got a nasty surprise: I vomited several times. My husband's blood pressure was 120, and I want to emphasize, we are 27 and 28 years old. I unfortunately couldn't participate in the meerkat tour, but my husband did. He only had two bites of the ice cream and therefore didn't have as severe symptoms as I did. The water is unfortunately brown, whether in the shower or the sink. Of course, I don't expect a glass of clear water, but perhaps they shouldn't serve the ice cream anymore. Or perhaps they should monitor it better and not let it thaw and then refreeze it, because if it hadn't been like that, the ice cream wouldn't have been a tasteless ice cube inside. Despite everything, thank you for the beautiful view.

We Visted the restaurant at De Zeekoe lodge. The food was great, especially the pizza. We stayed at the soetdoring self-catering cottages on the farm and not in the rooms at the lodge. They are currently experiencing a drought tho, would have loved to see the setting during a good rainy season. The cottage was clean, comfortable and private. Loved the peaceful privacy in nature. The service was friendly and good.
