The Aisle legal
Cookie policy
The cookies and local browser storage The Aisle currently uses for login sessions, security and lightweight planning state.
Last updated: 3 September 2026
This page reflects the current codebase scan. If analytics, advertising pixels or consent tools are added, update this page before shipping them.
Cookies currently used
The app currently sets a necessary session cookie named `altered_session` after login or registration. It is HttpOnly, same-site and used to keep a user signed in while the server verifies the session against the database.
This cookie is necessary for account features such as dashboards, saved venues, messages, package editing and quote acceptance.
Analytics and advertising cookies
The current codebase does not show a Google Analytics tag, advertising pixel or third-party behavioural advertising cookie. If those are added later, they need an explicit product decision and this page needs to name them.
Local browser storage
The Wedding Builder can save an in-progress plan in localStorage on the device under a listing-specific key. That makes the builder faster to resume on the same browser, but it is not durable account storage.
Clearing browser storage removes this local saved plan.
Managing cookies
You can block or clear cookies in your browser. If you block the necessary session cookie, account and dashboard features may not work.
